PLAYER FAIR PLAY CONTRACT

 
I will abide by the Fair Play principles at all times and I shall:


 
1.      Respect the rules, my team mates, opponents, the referees, the       coaches and the game at all times and never engage in activities,     comments, a dialogue or bullying that is disrespectful of my team mates, opponents, the referees, the coaches or of the game.
 2.     Have everyone participate and maintain self-control at all times.
 3.     Participate because I want to, not because my parents or coaches      want me to.
 4.     Do my best to be a true and loyal team player and a good team mate.
 5.     Remember that winning is just one goal, along with having fun,          improving my skills, making friends and trying my best.
 6.     Not be critical of team-mates and never discuss team-mates abilities     except to encourage good team play.
 7.     Remember that coaches and referees are there to help me and will accept and respect their decisions.
 8.     Be a good listener and follow my coach’s instructions.
 9.     Notify my coach in advance if I am going to be late or absent from a practice or a game.
 10.   Return my uniform (jersey and shorts) in good condition at the end of the season.
 11.   Never argue with a referee and if a call is disputed, I’ll let the coach   handle it.
 12.   Understand that school takes precedence over basketball.
 13.   Refrain from using foul language towards teammates, coaches,   officials, opponents, parents or spectators.
 14.   Respect and abide by the ABA Celtics social media policy - “Postings,        comments, dialogue and communications on social media by ABA Celtics parents, coaches and players that  are disrespectful to          parents, coaches, players on other teams, parents of players on other       teams, coaches of other teams, referees or league officials may, in          the sole discretion of our executive, result in termination of  a player’s      registration with the ABA Celtics Basketball Club and with the Metro        Basketball League”.
 15.   Thank my teammates for helping every time I make a good play or     score a basket.
 16.   Always conduct myself in a dignified and respectful manner as I         represent my family, my team, my club, my league and myself.
 17.   Always try to be the best that I can be.
 
I fully agree with the terms and conditions detailed in this Player Fair Play Contract.
